About Bhargavi Bharata Natyalaya
Bhargavi Bharata Natyalaya is a Bharatanatyam dance school based in Sammamish, Washington. It was founded in 2008 by Sandhya Kandadai Rajagopal, who is a Bharatanatyam dancer, teacher, and choreographer.

The school is affiliated to SAMPADA - Silicon Andhra University of California and many students graduate every year in distinction under the training and guidance of Smt. Sandhya.

Student’s won 1st place in Classical Dance and 1st place in Semi Classical Dance, in a National Dance Competition conducted by Telugu Association of North America (TANA) in 2013.

A few students won 1st price in an International Competition conducted by Dance Idol, an organization to promote Dance in India in 2021.

One of my student's 1st place in a competition held by a Television Channel Vasantam TV in Indi in 2022. She is also one of the participants who won Dance IDOL in 2021.

A few of my students entered Guinness World Record, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records for 50 Jathi Challenge in the year 2021.

A lot of my adult students won Women ikon Dance Competition in 2020.

Trained many students to appear for the 2023 certificate exams conducted by SAMPADA [Silicon Andhra University in California].

Many students participated in various events including Northwest Folklife Festival, Anandamela, VALA Eastside Redmond, Cultural programs in Temples for several occasions, City of Sammamish, etc.

Have choreographed and executed nearly 80 programs in WA state alone from the time of the commencement of this school.
